I'm not religious, and i have no problem with anyone believing in a God/higher power/supreme being. everyone needs to have thoughts and beliefs on life.

BUT it seems ridicules to base your life on a book with no historical authenticity or reliability. Jesus and Mohammad could and most probably never even existed. The average life span in biblical periods was 30 years old with only 4 out of 10 children dying before reproductive age.
Any historic source of that time is highly unreliable, most of the language written down is extinct forms of dialect anyway.
Not to mention there was no value for human life.

Also, Christianity and Islam are religions which FORCE you to follow certain rules.
There is no way i'm praying every night before i go to bed or 5 times a day to ANY God just because some Priest who claims he is a holy man tells me to, and that its Gods will...Like he knows.

He was the Messenger of the one God, and never to his life’s end did he forget who he was or the message which was the marrow of his being. He brought his tidings with a dignity sprung from the consciousness of his high office together with a most sweet humility."
